My Tesseract(Spell/Ritual)
(Circa February 2025) All right y’all Bind Rune time. First things first when it comes to most of the Bind Runes I make for public use most of them will come with the same if not similar instructions for use. This is for the ease of the user or practitioner. In that same breath it is also meant to breed adaptation to each user or practitioner’s craft.
The Bind Rune up for release today is the newest version of my all around protection Bind Rune and in turn it is meant to be used with any type of protective intent the user may have. Whether it’s Warding your home, car, self, loved ones or need protection while traveling via land, air or sea. This Bind Rune does it all and more. Its limits in the arena of defense, protection or shielding is that of the user’s creativity and imagination.
Lets get into it:
For short-term goals- draw the Bind Rune whether on paper or digitally; or use a representative image of the Bind Rune (stickers are available for purchase on my Red Bubble). For most things a piece of paper will be enough. For short term Bind Rune usage if using this Bind Rune as a Ward in your spaces to use this Rune you will want to have it placed in areas that require protection and then say your invocation of why you’re using the Bind Rune to charge and activate it.
You want to use this for someone who’s not near you or can’t be given a Bind Rune? Instead of drawing the Bind Rune on paper we now draw it on their picture, once that’s done write your invocation on the back side of the photo (this can be done in opposite order, if it vibes, vibes). Once that is done place the picture in a fire safe receptacle and burn the picture to charge and send the Bind Rune. If you do not have access to fire tear or cut up the picture to shreds saying your invocation over and over as you do and then dispose when you feel the task is complete.
Now let’s say we really like using this Bind Rune or we want to use it as a talisman or token for us or someone to have in their home or on their person. Easy peasy- carving, painting, or engraving time (also services that I offer in my services tab). When it comes to this style of Runic Magic it is imperative that we are intentional with choice of object and goal in mind. For this Bind Rune specifically if you want to use stones or crystals you may want to look at ones that can be carved or painted on; river stones, obsidian family, blood stone, carnelian are good choices for protection stones that can be carved or engraved. When using wood species, ones to keep in mind are hickory, oak, and birch- do not underestimate birch. And bones, we can’t forget bones try to think of what bones are used to protect or fight; jaw bones, claws, teeth etc.
Alright so let’s use this Bind Rune. Make up your sacred space in a manner that feels comfortable and gather the materials you wish to use. I also like to light a candle and/or some incense that corresponds to the ritual at hand and then do some meditative breathing to clear your mind (my exercise of choice is breathe in for a count of 9, hold 13, out for 9 for 3 sets. I find the longer hold helps me really shrug off anything I need and allows me to better ground.). Once grounded, reach out to whoever you wish, (or none), and ask the Rúnvættir to join and guide your hands as you make your piece of Runic Magic. This process is highly intuitive: let it flow and stay in that grounded artistic meditative state until it is finished. Once your ritual is complete, hold it in your hands and think about or state your objective again. Close out your ritual by blowing out the candle and again doing you meditative breathing to re ground-drink a beverage and eat a snack-
