I have run wild through the Iron Wood alongside Fenrir, I have glimpsed the threads of Wyrd through Jörmungandr’s ancient eyes. I am an unwavering devotee and a child of Hel, and I listen intently to the chaotic, profound wisdom woven into Loki’s wild parables. But despite my deep connection and reverence for this family, I have yet to forge the bonds or meet Lady Sigyn herself and her sons; an absence that weighs heavily on my heart. That emptiness was remedied when I saw in a server an earnest question about symbols or images that honor Lady Sigyn. In my search through my personal archives, I uncovered something: I had not created a symbol for her: none to bear her essence, her strength, her silent suffering.
Well, I had to change that. That very day, I entered ritual with her, an awakening that cut to the core of my being. It was one of the most humbling, sobering experiences I’ve ever known; the raw pain and grief etched into her story, her unyielding rage simmering beneath the surface, held tight within her very existence. She embodies poised humility and unwavering duty, a shroud cloaking the fierce fire she longs to unleash upon those who inflicted unspeakable pain and grotesque trauma upon her family. She guided my hands and my mind, urging me to forge something that is not only a tribute to her but also a fierce weapon for justice: a symbol for those who truly honor her and a burning mace against the wicked, a weapon for the brave to wield against oath-breakers, abusers, cowards hiding behind masks, those who shoot first and ask questions later. She desires this sigil to be the boiling oil poured ruthlessly upon their faces: an act of vengeance for her family and a path to restore peace.
This sigil belongs to her, born from her spirit, brought to life through her guidance. When you invoke her, revere her, or use this symbol know that you call upon her power. And when you do, shout its name with conviction: “Fervent Virtue.”
